What People's Say About Place

This place has the best chimichangas-flavorful, and absolutely satisfying. You won’t be disappointed! The fresh tortilla chips and spicy salsa are the perfect start to the meal. The Enchiladas Trio is also a great choice if you want to sample different flavors. We love coming here—consistently delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere.

We visited on a Monday evening, and the atmosphere was pleasantly calm—not too busy at all. We were seated immediately, and our food arrived in a timely manner. Daniel, our server, was attentive and checked in often to make sure everything was perfect. I ordered the green chili stew, which was flavorful and satisfying, though milder than I expected, but still enjoyable!

I went for dinner with my dad. This had been our go to place since it opened many years ago. I ordered the Baja shrimp enchiladas and they were pretty good the rice though was not edible hard and dry. Our waiter was excellent and attentive. We were their around 4pm and in the bar area. Other then that it was very nice atmosphere was good. Miss the Mexican music they use to have is there anyway to bring that back ? Other then that everything was good

Macaroni great Mexican food. Love their green ball tamales. Something different. Try to stop in and eat couple times a year being theybdont have in tucson any more. Server was little forgetful but was still nice. Still great food and atmosphere.

Jose was our server and got us everything we needed as quick as possible to keep our toddler going so we could enjoy dinner. Our food was hot, delicious, and everything was correct. We have been coming here for about 20 years and for the last few times Jose has been our server and truly is great every single time!

Love the atmosphere and the food was an added bonus. Amazing lunch specials.

We have not been to Macayos in a while since our Tucson Macayos closed. They were busy but still fast as we did not have a lot of time. We decided to sit in the bar area rather than waiting. The food was just as good as before. Already planning another visit next time we are in town. Another customer shared about the original Macayos in Mesa and their outside sitting area. We will have to try there next time. Very Good.
